I recently had the chance to take a quick turn in the new Tesla Model S P85D at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois. In addition to playing with “insane” mode, I got to test the all-wheel drive on some snow. Overall, I loved driving this car. It was fast off the line and capable in snow. In street driving, the P85D is both comfortable and luxurious.
The upside of not having an engine: a trunk and a frunk. While the trunk, with 26.3 cubic feet of cargo volume, will be the primary storage space, the frunk is a nice little bonus.
