The Subaru XV Crosstrek is all-new for 2013, and it’s been slotted in between the Forester and the Outback in terms of pricing. Crosstrek styling is on the edgy side, and I really like its athletic physique. The ride is stable, and acceleration with the 2.0-liter Boxer engine is pretty nice. Unless you mash down the gas pedal, then it gets a little loud. Overall, I love the price point, I love the handling, and I love the styling inside and out. Plus it has 2 of my favorite things as standard features: heated front seats and Bluetooth. Another huge selling point: EPA estimates highway fuel economy to be 33 mpg.
